It looks like a highly choreographed event to me, despite what Michael Steele has to say about it.

It got me thinking, especially since I live in the District of Congresswoman Bachmann.
Who's going to take Congresswoman Bachmann up on her plea for Minnesotans to be "armed and dangerous"?
"I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us ‘having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,’ and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States."I can see why some members of Congress are holding fewer and fewer town hall meetings, I just hope something bad doesn't happen.

That opening headline thought, somebody could get hurt, is looking true. But, remember the Wobblies and their history with the Pinkertons, it is the same thing - the moneyed interest using hired goon squads to intimidate anyone strongly speaking for reform. It's the early twentieth century strike-breaking strategy. It's just not yet to the level where guns and ball bats are used - yet. Probably live TV coverage quells that, but it is the old story, told again.
