Bachmann fixes her site

Seems like Congresswoman Bachmann had reneged on some of the biography info listed on her Congressional site.

Dump Bachmann reports

Bachmann's bio says she served three terms in the Minnesota Senate. That's a lie. She only served a term and a half--six years. Bachmann can't even tell the truth on her official US Congress bio. Pathetic.

Interesting that Michele's Oral Roberts University portion of her academic background is missing from her bio. In fact, all she lists are her high school and undergraduate degrees. Is Michele ashamed of her degree from Oral Roberts U?

It also states...

The District encompasses one of the nation's largest financial services sectors, making Congresswoman Bachmann's position on the Financial Services Committee crucial.

The bio now reads as follows.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is the first Republican woman to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Minnesota. Before being elected to Congress, Bachmann served in the Minnesota State Senate since 2000 where she championed the Taxpayers Bill of Rights.

Prior to serving in the State Senate, Bachmann spent five years as a federal tax litigation attorney, working on hundreds of civil and criminal cases. Congresswoman Bachmann is a fiscal conservative who is dedicated to reducing the tax burden on Minnesota families.

Congresswoman Bachmann is a graduate of Anoka High School and Winona State University. Bachmann and her husband, Marcus, live in Stillwater where they own a small business that employs 30 people. The Bachmann’s have five children Lucas, Harrison, Elisa, Caroline, and Sophia. In addition, the Bachmann’s have opened their home to 23 foster children.

It looks like they have figured out that she represents the 6th CD now as well and not the 7th CD.
